Lost 40 bucks on slot machines

i feel like since i only get a allowance once a week that when i get money i have to spend it soon. its like since im not use to having money that im not good at saving it. my dad is my payee so all my bills are paid and i dont have anything really to have to buy unless i just want it.

but i felt bad for losing 40 bucks because now im 40 bucks poorer lol. and i dont know if there will be anything else i need to buy before next allowance.

i still have some left but im starting to get suspicious if i have a gambling problem or not. because if i dont go to the slot machine room then i might buy scratch off tickets at the gas station to see if i win any money.

i know once i have a good win that i will stop gambling for a while and i havent had a win yet so thats what im still playing for.

I’m bad for losing my money on slot machines aswell. I usually go with my mom to the casino pretty often because it’s our “thing”. The difference is that she has a job and i have none right now. So i’m essentially spending my savings, sometimes i feel bad that i lost some money from playing.

I dont know though, it’s just something you have to choose to quit or not.

I like gambling but the odds are always with the house.

I will put $20 in a slot machine. But you never know.

I was in Vegas several years ago and I saw a sign in the hotel casino one night that said craps lesson tomorrow at 8 am. I was into partying and chasing women then but I said if I am up I will go. That was awful early for a day off work and after a night of partying in Vegas.

Long story short is I took the class and then played. Started with $40 and quickly had over $1400. I made a mistake. You can bet on hard numbers in the middle and I wanted my winnings but the guy thought I said leave it in the middle. I didn’t say anything and hard 8s hit again so I won a lot on that one roll. The pit boss started watching me.

I quit while I was ahead. I don’t remember anything much about how to play craps but I have never played again. I figure it’s time for me to lose.

So if you ever see a sign for a class just go. You might get lucky like I did.

I was in Vegas for work with a whole bunch of other Marines and they all lost money and gave me a semi hard time on the way home.

It made up for all the money I spent at a strip Club a couple nights before.

How much are you planning on winning?

I once won 100$ playing blackjack. Best day of my life.

back in 2013 i started playing craps after just asking someone how to play as i had been playing roullette betting black or red. so i figured out that i could bet the field which is like 2, 3, 4 ,9, 11, and 12 i think with 2 and 12 being a triple up bet. i would take 50 bucks on a friday triple it to 150 then come back on saturday and triple it to 500 then come back on sunday and triple it to 1000 or 1500. i did that 3 months in a row essentially winning about 3500 that summer. however the 4th month i took my dads card and withdrew a few hundred to try and keep winning but i lost and they decided i should ban myself from the casino or else they would press charges for the 300 i stole. i willl point out the 50 i started with the first 3 months was my own money though but that 4th month it was just time for me to lose i guess.

My dad plays the lotto once a week. Like 2 bucks a week.

That’s doable, but if it’s interfering with your spending, just cut the addiction

The house always wins.

Always.

Yeah. Slots is poor return but so is the lotto. Statistically the house always wins. It’s how gambling works but saying that I’ll have a bit of a play down the sporto when we have our fortnightly payday lunch. I stick to a limit of $20 or so and if I double my money I walk away.

Gambling can be a serious problem for some so keep an eye out. It can be addictive to some folk and if your on benefits it’s not a wise thing to waste money.
