I’ve lost 7 lbs in the last 10 days. I’ve lost 20 lbs in the last 4 months. I’m currently 273 lbs.The most I weighed a couple years ago was 305 lbs.
I just bookmarked the shirts I want to wear. A Denver Broncos shirt and a Denver Nuggets shirt. I can’t decide how big I want to buy them. Ideally I want to be 185 lbs. 220 lbs seems like a solid weight for me though. I guess I will just wait till I lose more weight. I’ve just been wearing fat clothes the last couple years and I’m really looking forward to wearing normal clothes.
I had a whole closet of clothes my girlfriend helped me buy when she was a doing a little better financially. I made a point to hold on to them, I just thought maybe I could wear them later. Although at times I only wore casual stuff and at other times I thought i had gotten too big to wear them, they stayed in the closet. Just recently she told me to try all of it on to see what still fits. I was surprised most of it fit okay, maybe not as loose as I like, but still decent enough. There are many ways to enjoy yourself when you lose weight. Being able to dress yourself with clothes that you hadn’t been able to fit into before is one of them. Good for you, your journey is inspiring to me because of my own weight issues. Thank @TheBest
I weigh about 280 gained 100 pounds since I started on meds in 2012. I’ve always felt confident in how I dress though, at least since my ex wife left me. She controlled how I dressed and yelled at me when I didn’t wear what she liked. Since she left in 2015 I’ve been wearing almost nothing but black and greys and I feel great. I have this trench coat that I wear out on the town sometimes. The other day my friend was walking with me from the coffee shop back to psych rehab and we were going thru this alley where the wind kicked up real bad, my coat started flying in the wind and he said “wow you look like a Wild West gunslinger or a vampire hunter” one of the best compliments I’ve ever received
That’s good to hear @Jaidex. You don’t have to be skinny I guess. I just have a fatty liver and I have to lose a bunch of weight. You remind me of Clint Eastwood.
I can’t wait to wear real jeans again. I’ve just been wearing jeans that were made for overweight people. I was wearing 44 inch jeans. Now I’m a 41 waist size. If I get down to 185 I will probably be a 30-32 waist size. If I get to 220 I will probably be a 34.
Really all I wear is jeans and a Tshirt. And if I want to get fancy I just wear a polo.
