We have no bodies of water here for house boats, but it sounds like fun

Sound like a interesting place to live. Good you don’t have to shell out a lot of dollars for rent!

It’s pretty nice its in a gated community so you don’t have to worry about naibors bothering you there are cameras so the owners can see what’s up and nobody is around co use they are all working except weekends and then they just get drunk and pass out on there boats or there anchors out and partying

What about docking fees? My in-laws have a houseboat and their dock fees are kind of high. Not sure in relation to rent.

It can get a little ruff with the moister in the air but. If you run the air conditioner it dries the boat out

I don’t have any dock fees never heard of that I think my dock fees are my rent if you are in la or Miami they can be high I am on the Illinois river

Most marinas are pretty cheap a bigger boat can start to cost like a 60 footer I have a 32 footer

Where do you dock? Do you get electricity? Is that what you’re calling rent? Or do you rent your boat?

On the Illinois river I get free wi fi cable tv water and a pool and power 300 a month
