Nausea - Jean-Paul Sartre
The Mayor of Casterbridge - Thomas Hardy
The Bostonians - Henry James
The Rise of Silas Lapham - William Dean Howells
One of my all-time favorites is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I also of course loved 1984 (Orwell) as well as Fahrenheit 451 (Bradbury). All three of those spoke to me.
I primarily like YA fiction. Trying to find some good adult fiction to get into. I really need to buy a copy of The Executioner’s Song by Norman Mailer so I can finally finish it. I started it when I was in high school and ended up not finishing it before I needed to return it.

I have read 1984! Great novel. It kind of messed with me at first with the whole “telescreens” aspect of it, but I got over it pretty quickly. I actually read it not that long ago. It was about 4 months ago if I’m not mistaken.
American Gods - neil gaiman
Acid House - irvine welsh

My personal faves are:
- Sirens of Titan - by Kurt Vonnegut
- To Kill a Mockinbird - by Harper Lee
- Ironweed - by William Kennedy
- Siddhartha - by Herman Hesse
Out of all the books I’ve read these titles are the ones that really stuck out to me,
