I’m really wondering if anybody here or if someone you know with sz/sza has been stable for decades or till they passed away the haldol seems to stop the mania idk I just wanna know if it can go away with meds I know i need the meds but I’m doing well and have been for awhile and wondering if it will ever come back
I never relapsed on meds or had positive symptoms but relapsed after a month off meds
are u taking meds and doing well or not taking em and doing well?
I’m taking them and doing amazing

That’s a conversation you need to have with your psychiatrist. I think most schizophrenics need an antipsychotic for life.

I take haldol lamictal Wellbutrin and clonazapam and honestly I think that combination has saved my life but I’m wondering if it could possibly work for the rest of my life

One of my psychiatrists recently told me that Invega Trinza is a good medication to be on for life. I’m sure there are other meds that can work for life too.
