Going out to shovel after the noon news,

It reminds me of when I lived in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Around there we didn’t consider it a significant snowfall unless it was at least 8-10 inches. That area averaged 245 inches of snowfall per year.
I’m guessing you get even more snow than that, though.
It was hot outside yesterday at my house
Above average temperatures here, mid 80s. It is like summer without the tourist.
Hasn’t hit Manitoba yet. Here’s hoping
We have had over a foot of snow and they are bringing in snow removal equipment from other cities to help

I love snow. I’m living in the wrong state lol
Where do you live, @Mountainman ?
Alberta Canada …
i so envy u have snow in greece we have mild winters only in northen parts of greece it snows.
hope every winter to have snow in athens .
If I knew it, I forgot that you lived in the UP. We got a dusting of snow in Copper Harbor so far. But of course, more is coming!
@Mountainman - what a rough way to start out the season. I am assuming this isn’t normal for you, at least this early?
I love the snow too!
The scary thing though is that there may be a mini ice age in the 2030’s so we may all soon be covered in snow this time of year too.
We shattered all records for this date for snowfall and its still coming down, will be till about 3 am, roads are a mess and yes its way to early for this much winter
Is this normal to snow this time of year where you live?
Nevermind they didn’t read the other post
Right on, I lived in the Keweenaw as well, in Houghton, did my undergrad at Michigan Tech. Such a great school, I loved it there. ![]()
We got 14 to 17 inches in the city , depending on where you live, what a mess
