It’s fixed my relationship With my partner
It’s insane!
It might be the only med I need
The paranoia went away it seems and the sensitivity
It’s only been the first day…
And my depression and anxiety lifted
And I’m not mad or irritated all the time anymore

My ocd has lifted because of it too
I can walk anywhere and engage socially no problem

Lamictal made me manic and anxious.

I’ve been on Lamictal for years. It does a good job of blocking the manic stuff, but I still have to take two antidepressants to fight my stubborn depression. I wish I had a benzo prn for anxiety.

I was on Lamictal for a while and I found it did not help at all with my mood swings. Switched to lithium and did much better.

Im really happy with this medication
I will report if I need an antipsychotic after taking this medication
@Artsygal
Do you take it everyday?
What dosage do you take?
Did you start this one before the abilify?

No, I have not tried this med. I keep telling my pdoc that I’m having mood swings, but he just prescribes me antidepressants instead.

Yes I have been on Lamictal for a long time before Abilify. I didn’t need the Abilify until a few years ago.
I take it every day twice a day which totaling 350

What was it like before taking it?
Were you bipolar?
When you took it did it help you with depression?
Do you feel pretty stable from it emotionally and mood wise?

Keep trying!
It’s really helpful for me

I’ve been on lamitrogine for 12 years. It’s been good in controlling the mood swings, in fact, that was a big problem for me prior to using it. As with every med, it also depends on the antipsychotics and antidepressants, and the mix between the three. They all play a factor. I take 400 mg daily.

Switch p-docs. You’re not getting the care to feel good / better.
