Klonopin (Clonazepam)

Hi guys,

Do you think Klonopin (Clonazepam) is good for aggression/anxiety/agitation?

I take Xanax, but I believe all benzodiazepines (such as Clonazepam) help with aggression/anxiety/agitation. Please be careful to take as prescribed, for this type of medication has the potential for addiction.

I was on Klonopin a long time, but my pdoc took me off of it when I stupidly told him I had given a couple to this girl who was jonesing for heroin.

I don’t take it everyday… I don’t want to develop a tolerance to it

I wish I could get a benzo. No benzos allowed at my pdoc. I don’t even ask. I could use some to calm me down sometimes though.

I am on Clonazepam 0.5 mg at night I take it for anxiety …it is helpful…tried stopping it but then I face anxiety issues at work when pressure builds up …so im stable with 0.5mg …they say clonazepam dependency is not good …looking fwd to taper it off soon gradually

I was on it for about a year. It helps with anxiety but not severe anxiety in my experience, worked some for agitation. I wouldn’t take benzos long term as they can deteriorate the body and mind long term.

I was on it long term. Coming off it was hellish. It helps, but benzos are only supposed to be used short term. You could be in serious trouble if you were on it long term, and e.g. you switched doctors and the new doctor refused to prescribe it.
