I tried the keto diet when it was called Atkins lol. I couldn’t stick to it for very long.

I did keto for 4 months and I felt great.. I did high protein, low carb, medium fats. I’m trying to get back into it. It’s not easy to but I’m going to do it.

It’s a no brainer for me. Did it religiously for 6 months but never went crazy on fats. Just try and still do to eat more fats than carbs and protein combined. Keep carbs to under 50 grams so you can offset that somewhat so the carb manager helps heaps. You can track things really well with carb manager. It’s a free app for your phone and you can really break down what you eat to get started.

Like a year and a half in now….not sure of dates but still have days off but it’s been crazy good for mental health let alone the weight you lose. It’s the subtle things and I’ve improved heaps with negative symptoms after 20 years of meds….

Yes. I’m still on meds but I’m down to lowest clinical doses but doing things I would never do socially and in life I would without the keto…./lo carb.

I think the thing is do it hard for 6 months and the results can be good then you build around it still with good gains. I still have days where I’m eating over carbs but I follow the lo carb lifestyle and it’s not hard for me. It’s just like going vegan or any other diet.
