I make shish kababs sometimes but it’s meat on a stick with veggies. They sell them at some local places too. But that looks like a wrap. I love gyros. It’s a Greek thing but used to eat kebabs like that in the Persian Gulf all the time when I was in the military.

There was this one place in Dubai that sold them on the pier right by our ship for only like $1 each. They were soo good.

My favorite restaurant by my house used to sell gyros and chicken shawarmas. Said it was Lebanese food and not Greek but they were really good and they went out of business recently. I miss that place.

They are for sale here. I make my own. They are not native to Canadian cuisine.

We have gyros. Is that the same? This is what we call kebab. Meat on the stick.
