Some Buddhists believe sz is past life karma coming back to us. For example we may have killed people in battle and sz is us paying for it in this life.

I don’t believe in Karma as a scientific steadfast rule of the universe. How could it be? If Karma is real why does it come true for some people and not for others and not in every situation? I see the concept seemingly work in some situations and not others. If it is real why do some people get away with being rotten and dishonest? The theory just doesn’t hold water. It doesn’t have to work and most of the time it doesn’t. Sometimes people do bad things and get caught and sent to jail and everybody cries “Karma”. But there’s millions of people committing crimes who get away scot free. The theory just doesn’t hold water. If it was real it should work all the time, not just in certain random cases.

The principle of karma is not as simple as this someone did this, so this will happen. It’s more like a web of interconnecting causes and effects. Normal human beings can’t fathom how it works, so it’s best not to think too much about it. Best to try and do good deeds and put your mind at rest.

I totally agree with 77nick77’s argument. @77nick77 I don’t believe in karma despite that I like most of the stuff in Zen Buddism. So I am just a half Zen Buddhist. If I accept all the stuff the Buddhism has, I would be a person who lives without a good mind.

I used to think that my SZ symptoms and permanent headache stemming from an unruptured brain aneurysm were due to some kind of karma, but it’s starting to look like a copper deficiency instead. Farm animals that die of brain aneurysms are usually deficient in copper, so that’s what I need to supplement.

There are people who have had MRI-detected aneurysms disappear after 6 months of colloidal copper supplementation.

even in scientific philosophy karma can be considered real.

Like drug addiction
hella karmatic when you look at it metaphorically
or exorbitant spending or any of the other things along of that nature.

Karma can be incredibly generalized
as in “the lord works in mysterious ways”
or approximately made to be a “cause and effect” type set up
 where A yields B
 more consistently

That cause and effect schema is the real deal
humans burn fossil fuels for immediate convenience, fossil fuels pollute atmosphere leading to more retained heated, more heat leads to long term inconvenience in human life. Real scientifically verified karma

Karma doesn’t exist.

It is cognitive disonence(sp?).??

misatributing a cause to an effect.

You will get bad luck if a black cat crosses your path. Something bad will always happen anyways sooner or later.

Your not cursed or bad karma or bewitched.

Your brain is, however, not being very co-operative with your wishes due to illness.

Perhaps we will all be psychics or angels in our next life due to our experiences in this one. Such is karma. Such is life.
