Just realizing that Elvis was actually a nervous person

I used to defend hm when people called him arrogant because I know the stress of being a performer. Celebrities really do sacrifice personal contentment for their public work. But I don’t want to get too close to any of them…:eyeglasses:

Yeah, but I bet all the sex, millions of dollars, world-wide fame and popularity made up for it a little.

But you’re right. Paul McCartney of the Beatles said a few times that while they were worshipped by millions and millions of people and the most popular band in history, all the Beatles basically sacrificed their lives to be Beatles and gain all that notoriety. During those early years when they first hit it big and toured the world giving concerts, they were stuck in hotels all the time. They didn’t have personal lives beyond giving concerts and working in the studio to make records.
