Just got my Amazon order.
Will start reading them tomorrow night after I have had some sleep.
Will let you know if they help.
Cool, I love CBT. Hope it helps you. There is quite a bit to it but it’s worth learning. It will give you great insight into your thought process.
I did a CBT program called “Attacking Anxiety and Depression” like 20 years ago. Plus I did a week long outpatient course at the hospital on CBT. I also bought this course online. It was a course to teach me what the therapists are taught so I could use it on myself. .
I did “Attacking anxiety” program in my early 20’s too…By Lucinda Basset right?
Yep, it went a long way to eliminating my panic attacks. I had seen the commercials on TV, then there was an ad in the paper for a seminar they were holding in the town next to mine, I went to it and bought the program there.
Back then it was just called “attacking anxiety”. I guess they added depression later.
That’s great @Bowens I hope you like it.
Thanks leafy!

Yeah, mine is called “Attacking Anxiety and Depression”. I still have it upstairs in my bedroom. I went through the whole program and my panic attacks went from seemingly constant to almost never.
hey aren’t you going to bed soon?
Yes, soon why?

I hate to be the storm cloud here, but I’ve gone through a lot of CBT work but my paranoia and catastrophic thinking trumps it every time. It’s as if these responses are “hard wired”, they just override logic and reason.
So, I have read the first 9 pages. The biggest complaint I have is the small print. In the last 2 or 3 years I have started to have issues with small print. I guess I need to get some reading glasses.
