Just got a DNA kit for my birthday

I heard that right now DNA tests can’t locate North American Indian DNA. We’ll see

When I edited the post, I edited out that my great great grandma was ashamed that she wasn’t married to my great grandfathers dad and thats why family members had a hard time getting info.

Cool thanks 15251515

Can you link the site that has that info.

I’m part Mongolian but I know not much about the country or the language…

Yes it is www.genome.com I believe. I had to do it on my husbands phone. I don’t have a computer and or have to be able to download this file and reopen it. My phone doesn’t have that capability I guess.

That looks like a very high tech site!

Yes. It does. Come to think of it I recognize the name genome, which I believe is because it’s the company you go through. My mom really figured this stuff out and sent me a link.
But I think what you do is after getting your DNA results back there is a link through ancestry.com or whatever company you use to access your raw data which than goes through Prometheus or genome and you then download the info to your device.
I hope that helps. I’m not very techy and also my memory is like dog poo so a lot of this is paraphrasing.
