When I get stressed I cope by binging. Is so unhealthy
I have a problem with comfort/stress eating too . You can add to that difficulty realising I’m full up. I’ve been better about it since living here , but it takes a lot of self control to do that.
many small meals keeps my hunger and weight down.
can you just loan the food to someone until you can eat it slowly? I hate to see you waste food…
I have the same issue on the opposite end of the scale
Best wishes to you <3
I didn’t stop my binges in general (in the past 2-3 months I drank a 20 ounce sugar free soda really fast which was the only time) until I learned I had diabetes. The symptoms of the disorder had made me very weak and I realized that it had become a life/death situation. I am in real trouble due to my binge habits and that’s where you may be headed as well. Sugar and salt can be as addictive as any major drug. I suggest eating sugar free options that will make you poop big time if you overindulge. Then your mind may associate eating candy with a very bad result. There are also salt substitutes out there. You may also want to eat like a diabetic has to eat because it’s not a bad meal plan.
I’ve got an unhealthy relationship with food too. I managed to stop myself binging with distraction last night, but it’s easier jsut to not have the binge food in the house in the first place.
