It reminds me of when I was trying to give up booze in a way. I definitely have a junk food addiction. The craving lasts about 2 hours but I think it’s never going to end while it’s happening.
Diet still on track, but it requires an awful lot of willpower.
I’m on a calorie controlled diet, and am allowed 1800 calories a day. My pizza would be 1800 calories on its own. If I had pizza even once a week, that would mess with my diet.
Diets… are you prepared live on 1800 calories a day for the rest of your life? If you’re not then you can lose some weight for your holidays but put it back on when you quit the diet.
If you want to lose weight permanently then it needs a change of lifestyle, such as going vegetarian or going to the gym.
Sheesh “you’re allowed” 1800 calories a day. Are you an adult and not in control of your own diet? You allow someone else to tell you how to eat. Ok have fun with your diet.
Sorry if I sound critical, I just don’t buy into diets, such as weightwatchers inc how much profit do they make. Or people selling books, same thing. If you “go on a diet” and lose weight from it, then you need to continue the diet for the rest of your life to keep the weight off, it’s asking a lot.
