Just ate a bite of the worst Subway

Sandwich I ever had. I don’t know what was wrong with it but I swallowed two bites thinking I’d not waste my money, but by the 3rd bite I spit it out and threw it away. Awful!

I worked at Subway throughout high school and college. I always liked it. I can’t imagine what could have gone so wrong. But I’ll tell you this - I won’t return to that location again. Yuck!

I prefer Penn Station. Stuff there is made fresh.

@Mars , they don’t have those near me. I’ve never even heard of them. But I like that it’s fresh

Last time I tried subway, the bread tasted like it had plastic in it, chewy and tasted like chemicals, that was at least 5-6 years ago, so I guess they haven’t changed the formula.
I would be afraid to try it with cricket flour being a thing now.

I like Subway’s “Elite Chicken and Bacon Ranch” sandwich. The melted cheddar really makes it.

Cricket flour?! Ewe! I looked it up and it’s a real thing! Yuck!

I am lucky my mom makes homemade bread, 100x better than store bought bread and not comparable to whatever subway bread is.
As for cricket flour… I generally try not to think about it.
At least they try to be honest on the FDA label, to a point. Honey and olive oil being exceptions.

The subway near me isn’t bad. It’s funny how they say subway eat fresh. Cause a lot of times it doesn’t seem the freshest compared to other places.

@ericsbat , When I worked at Subway we made the food fresh everyday, but that was a long time ago.
