It’s come full circle. I first had a Subway sandwich in 1997 and I wasn’t impressed. I got a roast beef or a turkey sub or something and it tasted like a vegetable sandwich and it was mostly lettuce. I started really getting into them again a few years ago when I started receiving coupons in the mail from them periodically. $6.99 for a 12 inch sub or two for $12.99 seem to be too good of a deal to pass up. Today I got a roast beef sub for $8.00 and I had the same impression as before, as I ate it I couldn’t taste the meat at all. What a ripoff, paying $8.00 for some bread and lettuce with dressing on it. Never again.
When I was in high school and college I worked at Subway for 6 years.
Have you ever tried a BMT? Lots of meat in that one!
I don’t know. I like Subway.
I get the meatball and pepperoni with cheese no lettuce
I’ve never been to a Subway sub shop and don’t plan on going in the future.
Seems like they like to ruin a perfectly good sandwich by stuffing it with tons of different kinds of vegetables
No thanks but I’ll pass
I haven’t had Subway since high school. I’d rather get a sub from a pizza shop or literally any other sub place. Subway drools.
I use to work at subway, and i agree, they dont use enough meat. I think firehouse subs are way better.
They have to make a lot of money.
Have you seen their new advertisements?
They feature all sorts of very popular athletes.
(Maybe they’re trying to make us forget their former spokesperson)
The one we’re all hoping is getting “foot longs” in the joint?
No kidding.
He’s garbage.
10% sugar. No wonder it’s addictive. Carb free now but used to eat subway.
I actually LIKE Subway’s Veggie Delite sub, which is all veggies and no meat, but I can’t stand their meat subs. I also get the Veggie sub cuz it’s the cheapest…
Funnily enough I only go to subway when I want a veggie delight sandwich. I’ll take jersey mikes over subway if I want any meat any time.
I really like the meatball sandwich with cheese and all toppings, but no dressing.
I like the all american club it has turkey , ham and bacon
Extremely expensive.
I tried the salami caprese from Jimmy Johns. It was a little too sweet. The balsamic did that. But I wanted to try it before it’s gone.
Hi Nick
I heard that subway bread has so much sugar in it that it can’t even be classified as bread.
That helps to put me off, in addition to pricing.
oh Subway is ok…just not craving it enough to get it…would rather have KFC.
