Jogging with a taser, my paranoia may be getting worse

Today I was terrified to go on my morning jog I do every single day.

All these horrible scenarios were racing through my mind,

So I decided to charge my taser and bring it as an added level of protection.

Protection from what? Who knows.

I was suspicious of very person I passed, every car, every house,

It was absolutely miserable.

Now I’m home wondering how this happened,

I was fine two days ago.

This is not normal or common for me,

I’m not this fearful a person.

Could it be the increased anxiety from the Abilify,

How long can these side effects persist?

If it even is the Abilify.

I feel like my health has only deteriorated since I began treatment.

I’m not quitting, but I’m pissed about it, fo sho.

hello Rex,

That does not sound good at all. I noticed some APs made me highly anxious and paranoid.

I would do similar things and thought everyone was after me.

It happened when I had the xeplion injection about 2 weeks after i started acting strange and confused.

Its why i take the pill i dont trust injections. I feel for you though. Watsap your doc and tell him you feeling edgy/anxious/paranoid and could it be due to the abilify.

Best info i got.

If abilify is affecting you like that then that’s definetely counter productive. It could be the increased anxiety. Maybe.

How long ago was it since you had your last injection? I’ve heard stories of people not doing well when their injection “wears off” so to speak.

Its only been two weeks,

And it was only my second injection.

Everyone reacts differently I know this, but Abilify made me extremely anxious and paranoid.
It’s best to talk it over with your doctor.

Yes, if it persists then abilify is just being counter productive. It could just be a blip though if you were fine up till 2 days ago. As wave said, feed all this back to your doctor.

The way everybody reacts to meds is down to the individual and it’s all trial and error.

You should talk to your doctor before the next injection and decide if you should go ahead with the next injection or switch meds. 2 months is enough time to know if it’s working out or not in my non medical opinion.
