Should I go to my doctor or call them if I think I’m getting jittery sort of facial spasms in my face? I think its medication change related, or can they not do anything?
I don’t want it to get worse, and become a lot more intrusive.

What med/ meds are you on?
Risperidone gave me twitchy hands and jumpy legs while trying to sleep…I ditched that med in a hurry.
I just got onto Rexulti.
My feet already feel like twitching and moving when I go to sleep, I settle down and sleep though fairly well. I think my doctor is switching me off latuda entirely.
I was scared to switch but over the course of a couple visits he’s pretty well convinced me that is a feasible move.
Okay.
Any Rexulti users want to weigh in on this? I’ve never taken that drug so I can’t comment.
Jitters in the Bridge of My Nose
Am I the only one who smells a hit country song here??
You give me tingles in my head
Down to my toes
You wash away all of my woes
But when I’m with you
It’s just the way it goes
You give me jitters in the bridge of my nose
(ahem) Sorry about that…(cough) (cough)…a little attempt at humor there.
I don’t know if it matters, specific people get different things on meds, I just wonder if anyone whom has delt with the face twitching stuff has felt it like spasms or not.
I used to get eyelid spasms/twitching when I was first put on risperidone in 2012. Dr switched me to Abilify and the problem stopped. Though now 10yrs later I am on risperidone again and that problem did not come back. Anyways I think there is meds to fix this, ask your Dr.
