Muscle twitching - should I tell my pdoc?

I get muscle or nerve twitches above my right ear close to the top of my jaw - it isnt constant, but happens frequently - Is this part of EPS related to Risperdal use? Should I mention this to my pdoc? I mean I have a feeling that it is related to my antipsychotic - but I am not sure - anyone know?

Question is why do you feel it’s not worth mentioning to your pdoc?

Could be muscle tension. I get muscle twitches arms legs neck face eye when stress is high

I am concerned that it could get worse - is it part of tardive dyskenisia or EPS, I dont know, I never experienced twitching on my head/face - this is why I am asking others who know or have had experience with muscle twitching - maybe it has nothing to do with Risperdal, but I can never be too cautious, you know what I mean

Yeah I have been under some stress lately - I have gotten twitches on my arm, but never head - thanks buddy, I appreciate it

No worries, Try some destressing exercises and see if it leasens

I get eye twitches from time to time. My p-doc says not to worry about it. But he asks every session if I have any movement issues, so I tell him every time he asks. I’d mention it, but not stress about it.

Yeah I am going to mention it, thanks @Maggotbrane - it seems that Risperdal can cause twitches or muscle spasms - because this is happening by my face, I will bring it up. I am always on the lookout for signs of tardive dyskinesia - I know that I get anxious/paranoid about these things, but these twitches and spasms have been pretty frequent

i get twitvhes in my arm rarely, but ive always had them my muscle will begin twitching up and down repeatedly for a minute then its done but this happens rarely, and i have facial twitches every once in a while, told pdoc he said as long as it isnt constant dont worry about it. happens when im stressed or tired. im on geodon 60mg once daily
