I've made a deal with the supplement devil

Broccoli sprout extract gets rid of my distress and anxiety but has made my avolition/lack of motivation even worse. It’s really bad now.

I can’t stop taking it either as the distress and anxiety is something I can no longer tolerate.

It always feels like one step forward, two steps back.

Sorry the broccoli extract isn’t working the way you’d like.

I’m taking the broccoli but don’t feel anything yet.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I don’t take supplements, but it seems like I’m either experiencing avolition or anxiety and nothing in between.

The little pill devil image made me laugh.

Currently I’m taking Clonazepam 0.25 mg 1-2x a day. 2-3 pills of L Theanine, broccoli and also collagen.

You’ll notice the difference if you stop taking it. But after a month I think it could decrease your motivation so watch out for that.

I’m taking it in powder form in my cereal in the morning. 3 gr of broccoli sprout powder.

The research says that sulphorane might replace antipsychotic completely.

I wish. Lol. :joy:

This is what I’m using if you’re interested in trying it.

Do you take anything for anxiety ?

It doesn’t matter what you take. It always makes some things better, some things worse, and causes side effects and withdrawal symptoms.

I don’t. I tried a bunch of stuff for awhile, but honestly none of it really made much of a difference. Not even the benzos I tried at the end.

I’ve just kind of accepted the discomfort. It’s limiting for sure, but I don’t have full blown panic attacks or anything, so I consider myself lucky in that regard.

Yeah, that’s pretty much been my experience. It’s all a trade off in the end. It’s what you’re willing to accept and what you’re not willing to accept.

It seems you really like supplements and benzos that work on GABA. I’ve noticed for my self it’s just band aide. I just want my hippocampus to improve because of the memory part of it.

I searched pubmed with broccoli extract and most of the studies were about the cognition of a schizophrenic.

For me when I talk about my exact cause of anxiety most of it goes away, although there are always some nagging thoughts I can’t control.

With motivation you pretty much have to exercise and eat healthy. It is really tough at first and you have to go slow. After you do it for a couple of months you will be really more productive. Once you get in really good shape you will walk around like a badass thinking you can do anything.

Yes. Exercise is supposed to be great for schizophrenia. You’re right.
