Have you tried natural supplements like

  1. L-theanine
  2. Beta alanine
  3. Taurine
  4. Broccoli sprout extract

I was able to come off benzos because of Broccoli sprout extract and L-theanine.

I use the others PRN.

That’s amazing. I didnt know they could help that much. Its going to be hard to replace the anti-anxiety effects of my benzo but I might have to look into them. Thank you.

I just started L- theanine so I might have some good news soon. I also take gabapentin and my anxiety only acts up sometimes but I’m hoping the L theanine will help with my anxiety attacks … All I. All my anxiety at home is down by like 90% fr

What dose of L-theanine are you taking if you don’t mind me asking?

I have to take a minimum of 300mg at a time.

I mentioned gabapentin to my doctor last time I saw her. She wanted me to give Prozac more time. Im running out of patience bro, I feel like im suffering.

Caffeine and nicotine helps with my anxiety.

THC does too.

I’ve been stable on Invega for a while and it kind of diminished my anxiety over time too.

Honestly, having a wank helps as well.

I’ve had another forum member reccomend hydroxizine. How does it make you feel?

My doctor said shes not a fan of Buspar. She didnt tell me why.

It makes me feel calm but not tired.

The very first time I took it I felt stoned but ever since then I just feel calm

I’m willing to try anything at this point.

I totally understand. When my PTSD was severe, I found that Seroquel and Buspar and an ad helped tremendously when taken together

How should I ask my doctor for Visteril? @LilyoftheValley

I’d ask her why, BuSpar isn’t addictive.

Just say I’d like to know if I can try Vistaril. It’s just an antihistamine but it works better on anxiety than Benedryl

I was on benzos for most of my life and have been off for 2 years. I found that when I was anxious I had negative thoughts and I would make statements to the opposite effect to counteract it.

Which benzo were you on and how much did you take on a daily basis?

How was coming off?
