I can see the end of my life winding up…or winding down rather. nine years is a long time…but it still makes me feel mortal.
My parents were born in ‘58 and ‘59. Wbu @jukebox
I was born in 1969, seems like such a long time ago. Another age.
I’m 53 this year and I can’t say that the end isn’t gaining in my thoughts.
It’s very powerful coming to terms with the end of your existence. It’s not so bad when your young for most but I feel that time is flowing way more quickly. I choose to live way more quickly too because it’s hard to come to some sort of understanding that one day you cease to be. That really does suck but you move to energy anyways…
When I go it’s nice to know that somewhere in some form I’ve returned to the cosmic flux and no matter how small it is in the scheme of things I’ve added to this universe…that is cool in my book.
My dad was born in 1930 and my mother 1935. My mother died in 2010. My father is still alive. I’m 4 years from 70.
I am 4 decades old by this May 30. To look back it has been a tough journey so far. I need to get back in line and do the due work to overcome bad past.
I hope I get to live that long. With my health as it is I wonder if I’ll even make it to 30
You honestly never know how long you have. My grandfather lived it be in his late 80s. But my grandmother? She was born in 1918 and will be 105 this July. Its unbelievable.
I’ve been worried about death since I was 16. I’m 53 now and less worried about it than I’ve ever been, which is ironic.
when is your birthday
I’ve born a little bit over 50 years ago, my body feel like 60 at this moment.
I was often near death - i think - it doesn’t matter when my mind is slowly flying away.
Enjoy live !
61 is the average lifespan for a medicated sz, so you’ve matched that at least! Well done!
Mostly due to obesity, smoking, substance misuse, no exercise and cardiac/metabolic issues related to all of these.
I’m six years frond 70. It seems like most of the men from my neighborhood died in their early seventies. I’m hoping to get a little more time than that. I don’t use the time I have, though.
My physical health has deteriorated a bit over the last few years i.e was only 14 pills a week now it’s over 70 pills a week. Things like balance, coordination and gait have never been good but have worsened . Now physically there’s chronic lower back pain, atrial fibrillation, iron deficiency anaemia, reduced mobility, premature osteoporosis, low vit d, Barrett’s oesophagus
Surprising my blood pressure is quite good. Last time it was taken it was 107/80.
Luckily my brain is still quite sharp.
