It's just a daily thing now TW

I just live with daily suicidal thoughts. I used to get episodes of it but now it’s like just there permanently it seems and sometimes it gets worse. It’s exhausting feeling like I’m constantly battling myself.

Suicidal ideation can be caused by medication. What does your psychiatrist say?

I deal with this, too. It went away on clozapine but since i went off that it came back…here’s the book my therapist and i are using to teach me how to deal with these thoughts. It’s pretty useful…it doesn’t take the thoughts away but just helps me reframe them.

I don’t think it’s medication related if anything my.latuda has been making it better

That’s a good idea to try a workbook. It’s been a while since I’ve done a mental health workbook

Don’t act upon these thoughts and phone a crisis no if desperate.

Sorry to hear, sounds kinda tough.

Does therapy help at all?

Do you take an antidepressant?

I used to have suicidal thoughts but they went away on Wellbutrin.

I’ve had a lot of therapy and no it hasn’t helped my suicidal stuff a ton.

No they wanted to stabilize me on my new med first before adding in an antidepressant
I started on latuda not super long ago

They went away for me after a couple of years. But I think my situation might have been different

Sorry to hear your struggling @Moon . Just take things one day at a time.

I think due to your disability application situation you’re feeling hopeless. I could be wrong.

Anyway, feelings of hopelessness really contribute to and intensify depression

It’s important to find things that you do have hope in.

The workbooks may help, brainstorming may help, and so may therapy. If you can, I’d try doing all 3.

The disability thing has been going on for a long time. It doesn’t make me feel hopeless. My life in general does

Ok. Well the same things can help regardless of the cause of suicidal ideation.

I hope you get out of this rut, and feel better soon

Definitely a cause for concern. I would talk to my pdoc about it. She may put you on some new meds for it. Either way, it doesn’t sound like a good way for anyone to live, know what I mean
