These people from the mental health department get paid for making sure i take the medication.

I appreciate my pdoc and the clinic I go to…they are there for me and I need their help.

Yes, i don’t mean they are horrible people, i just don’t need that overdose of medication. I don’t need their help anymore i am fine. I had a crisis, got help, i said thank you, i am friendly and try to be assertive to get the message across i am good now. What else do they possibly want from me ? I am not a saviour.

On one side they treat mental illness like a mental illness and when its convenient they treat it like a physical ilnness.
Usually they want you to be on meds for years after a crisis, if not lifelong.

Maybe if you can show them that you are responsible and law abiding they might be willing to reduce your med’s, but it will take time to do that. Unfortunately, sometimes mental health care can operate on an assembly line basis.

it’s brutally hard to understand SZ/a from an outside perspective. it’s multifaceted, has many risk factors/circumstances, and personalized to each person, which makes mental health care very difficult. yes, it’s true hospitals/clinics (in America) try to turn a profit, but the workers do want to make sure you get better. it’s easier to work with them, your only other choice is to find a way to live without meds sober, out of trouble, and stable.

I did started a balconygarden and studies at university, still it wasn’t proof enough i changed. I produced even a police clearance that i never comitted any crimes or been to court or jail. Still, they can’t see it. Are they blind or something ?

Against your will?
If you’re not, then you’re free to do as you please. Take meds or don’t.
More often than not, meds are unavoidable if you don’t want to part with your sanity.

They are harrassing me, knocking on my door every day. I don’t answer anymore. I don’t want to communicate with them, they know i don’t want to take the medication. It seems they will eventually find /get their way. I stay strong, but this harrassment alone drives anybody insane. They are so loud that even the neighbours are aware. No privacy for me. Its my duty to raise awareness about the methods they are using. I don’t have rights it seems.
I’ve been on a depot for 13 years now and I’m not joking I’ve have my door kicked down by the police if I refuse it. Its happened before a few times.

WTF ? Am i an enemy of the state or something. I actually offered to stay in the mental health institution for life, but they don’t wanted that either. Maybe i should conviently get killed.
Yes, they knocked on my door today again, they gave me the injection mentioning they call the cops on me otherwise.

Do you have a history of becoming violent when off meds? Did neighbors or family members complain about you? Despite the crime record being clean.
I’m asking because I find it odd they go to such extremes.

Yes i find it odd too, i called the mental health response and been told, they are actually lying to me. I enquired about my rights and the fact is i am voluntarystatus and don’t have to take the injection as a matter of fact.

True, usually slightly higher than usual minimum dose just to be on safe side wen starting a medicine again after crisis.
It’s annoying but seems 2 b necessary
