Not going to bore you with all the detail
But what has upset me was today was my last appointment with my currently psychiatrist. I’ve had her 11 years. And I am sad to have to change.

I’m sorry it’s been a bad 24 hours that you have to change your psychiatrist. I am optimistic you’ll get a new one that you like.
I hope the next psychiatrist will be ok.
Hopefully you like the new one. I feel for you
Well, change is a growth opportunity. Gives you a chance to build on all the other great changes you have been making lately? You’re a tough muffin and you’ve got this, oh pug-nacious one!

I had the same doctor for a very long time
The younger doctors are a bit hit or miss
One was ok but the other sounds like a drill manual to medicate everything
My old doctor who retired always made time to help monitor meds properly
so sorry…I hope you like the next pdoc.
I had to make recent changes and now I’m seeing a new pdoc.
Many times change is a positive thing.
I agree with @anon82948922
You are one tough cookie
Thanks everyone. To be honest my psychiatrist is retiring this year anyway. And my nurse is retiring next year. So maybe it’s time for change as everyone else is moving on.
How do you like your new psychiatrist @Wave
I’m glad my Psychiatrist is retiring. I kind of hated him honestly.
So far I like him but I’ve only seen him once
I see him again soon
Yes. I have made many positive strides lately…..like splitting with my ex and also starting university in September. This is a new me I think. And it doesn’t feel all that bad to be honest. Btw speaking of pugs…. I had an artist draw my pug recently. Do you like it ?
That is not the finished product. But I am collecting it this week coming. She needs to add a few more details and sign it. Here is the picture I sent her to do jt ….
My last psych retired maybe 2 years ago. New one seems ok even though she’s very different from old one.
Hope you find a good replacement soon!! It’s not an easy thing to go through. I sympathize.
And your pug pup is adorable!! ![]()
Love it!!!
My pdoc is a 3 time kidney recipient. I know I won’t have her forever but I love her and I try to enjoy the time I do have with her as my Dr. she’s great! So I have that nagging fear behind the gratitude of who I’ll have to see next and when I’ll have to start seeing them.
So cute! 15555444
