Okay so my real name is Karen and it really really bugs me when I see people being called a “Karen” and it bugs me even more when I see it here, it use to make me mad but at this point it makes me feel sad, embarrassed, and even ashamed of my name… It really hurts me very deeply when I see my name used in this way so I ask y’all to please not use my name in this way… It really hits my already tattered self-esteem… Sorry to bother y’all and if deemed inappropriate please feel free to lock this… Just thought I’d put in my ten cents

Not named Karen myself but it bugs me as well. It’s become a cliché. If you don’t like someone, put it into words, don’t just mindlessly use a label.

I like the name Karen.
I knew a couple of Karen’s throughout my lifetime.
They both were very nice people.

I’m sorry it makes you upset. I don’t use your name as an insult, but it is trending in memes as an insult, like you pointed out. I’ve seen it a lot, online.
You show them that Karen is a beautiful name and that you won’t take no s***. 
And I’m sure this “Karen meme/insult” will phase out, over time.
