I dont know if it’s a problem with my judgment. I have spend money on something really expensive. I have bought them from time to time I can’t get rid of the desire to buy them. Actually when I got sick, I spend a lot of my life savings to buy them I think I’d not be able to use all them up in my life.
What’s the problem with me? I bought so many I dont need them.
They are expensive food supplements. Valued highly in our culture. I bought them again and again. I think it is my sz doing it. I feel compelled to buy. If I don’t go, I’d feel agitated and stressed.
Maybe a bit mania? My dad was bipolar and on his manic episodes he would buy useless expensive things. Or just cork-screws, like 15 of them. Or steal silverwear from the supermarket.
I just buy clothes. I have a lot of clothes and a compulsion to buy clothes.
I sincerely think it has something to do with manic mood.
But I don’t have a manic mood.
Can I ask what supplements are those? Maybe they have addictive properties?
I have a lot of expensive herbs and valuable Chinese seafood at home. I so wanted to get them. I needed to buy a lot to let go of that feeling.
I choose not to window shop these days. I’m afraid it would trigger my desire to buy.

That is a lot of fish maws! Do you have a therapist you can discuss this with?
Maybe an approach on addiction would be good for you. Read about it, try to overcome it on your own. If you can’t, talk to a professional about it. It’s not easy to give up an addiction.
Are you taking Abilify?
I saw an ad on TV for a lawsuit on it because it said it could cause uncontrolled gambling.
Maybe something like this could be the cause??

The commercial against Abilify was stating that it had shown to increase the ’desire’ to gamble, not necessarily ’cause’ someone to gamble, so
it’s possible it may also be responsible for the increased desire to (over)spend in persons who do not normally ‘overspend’?
If enough people report this affect, it should be brought to the manufacture’s attention,
so they can inform the consumer to be aware it’s potential,
and prevent a situation before it gets out of control,
(rather than attempt to place blame for the expectation of monetary gains.)
I can get started buying junk food. On my scale, that can add up. I try to keep a tight lid on it.
I took abilify for three years but i have stop taking them for two years. But i spend all the money collecting expensive stuff before i was put on antipsychotics.
