Woke up and went riding my bicycle, did not check the temperature, it was freezing, but I did not feel cold, as I rode my bicycle I saw what temperature was, it was -10 celsius, but still not feel cold, I suppose my clothes were good and resisting this early winter freeze, coming from Siperia, freezing cold weather, but still enjoying my bicycle riding as always feeling good, no depression, just peaceful and calmness, it was one freezing morning.
it is freezing here in Dublin…5 celsisus…I know that’s probably nice summer weather to ya!! 5 is cold in Dublin.
I am not in Siperia, but this freeze came to Finland from Russia, it is very refreshing to ride bicycle in this weather.

I put my heating on for the first time this autumn on Tuesday. It’s hard to tell which is worse- being cold or the oppressive and stuffy heat the heating produces. It is making me feel headachey and out of sorts.

Temperature in Finland may vary from -30 to +30 celsius, today it was -10, but as I visited our local place for mentally ill, there somebody said that it will be +10 celsius next week. No snow yet here.
No frost in forecast here in middle of U.S. and none predicted through November 1st. Usually we get a frost by at least mid October but lowest so far at night has been 36 F. (2.2 C) Most nights are 40 - 50F (4.5 - 10 C)
Where I come from what you describe is bitter cold. Here in Eastern Oklahoma we expect a high of 74 F today. We’re having a lovely fall.
You’ve got 80s the next 4 days after that too… I normally don’t like mid fall when it gets raw and wet with the first frost and fall rains in the 40s, but this fall is an exception…hope it continues and it’s supposed to till at least first of November
