2C here right now. There is ice on everything as we had freezing rain overnight. I can’t remember having that on New Year’s Eve before.

I did not ride my bicycle today, but I walked a lot, it was -26C which was okay, I did not feel cold, I like to walk around.

It is 3:42 AM and the temp outside is -28C, the coldest day was in one city of Eastern Finland yesterday -36C, I going to walk around when the sun rises, we are in the middle of winter and it is dark and a lot of snow, but I feel like living, maybe the winter can be the best time in Eastern Finland, but my walk on the beach of Costa Rica on the Pacific side came to my mind.

Some people wrote earlier in 2023 that the year 2023 was the warmest year on record, but today I read that f.ex. in Sweden’s Lapland it has been as cold as -44 C, the coldest in the past 25 years. What is happening to our climate. It is -26C here and I am going to have a walk, exercising in winter is also important, I am actually in quite good physical fit.
