Losing an animal is tragic.
Give yourself a break and have a good cry about it.
Its sad, but in time it’ll be easier to cope with.

I have a 19 year old cat. I’m sure I will miss her if she goes before me.

thanks everyone…I just have to remember that I think dogs and pets go to Heaven when they die…he’s in a better place.

I’m so sorry @jukebox. I’ve been lighting a candle every night for my dear sweet Lola since she passed away. I don’t know why, but it helps me.

I’m so sorry for your loss, @jukebox. I’ll be heartbroken when my cat goes.
You don’t have to stop crying until you’re ready to stop crying. It’s a huge loss and you have to go through a grieving process. Be kind to yourself.
