Is this enough to be schizophrenic

I had command hallucinations (but very rarely)
I feel like people are “out to get me” (kidnap me)
I have capgras delusion

Is this enough to be considered schizophrenic?

Trust your diagnosis. No one here can diagnose you. But you definitely have proven that you have multiple delusions.

Command hallucinations are not fun.
Paranoia and hallucinations, especially command, do occur in schizophrenia, and have occurred in my life.

I’m diagnosed schizoaffective.

I would talk to your pdoc about your diagnosis.

I just wanted to get advice because my pdocs here at the nursing home don’t talk to me.

No worries.
It’s a good thing to look at outside resources if your pdoc at the nursing home isn’t talking to you.

I had a prophecy (de ja vu) that sometime bad is gonna happen in the next few days. It could be an attack (life threatening) voices coming back using the excuse of me drinking too much. Iv dreamt about it, this is a significant moment in my life.

Somethings gonna happen……

and then sometimes, all my reading, writing, thinking makes me smart,

and then This, makes me want to jump off a bridge.

You have to Ask your doctor.

Generally you need 2 symtoms to get the diagnose.

Check out this link, look at the DSM-5 column. Do you meet the criteria? If you do you probably have schizophrenia. Only a doctor can diagnose you though.

Well my so-called delusions are definitely bizarre so I guess I am schizophrenic.

You wouldn’t be aware they are bizzare technically (if you were schizophrenic)

Thinking you are going to North Korea and being given plastic surgery isn’t bizarre? Just wondering.

So you do have insight that it sounds bizarre and mightn’t be true?

Yes I do. I still kind of believe it but I recognize that it is bizarre and that most people don’t think this way.

Not entirely true. My Dr’s are aware that I usually know my delusions are such, but I believe it anyway, and I’m diagnosed sza.

Bizzare or true?

Do you mean are my delusions bizarre? I guess, I’m not sure

No what I’m trying to say if you are aware that your delusion isn’t true then it’s not a delusion.

A delusion is a fixed firm belief despite being given evidence to the contrary

I’m not sure whether my delusion is true or not. I usually think it is true, so that makes me delusional?

According to my pdoc and therapist you can have meta awareness. The knowledge that others would call it a delusion, yet you believe it anyway.
