Is the motor skill impairment from invega permanent?

I switched to ability 200mg and am hoping that this gets better. I’m 5 months off of trinza and see no difference tho so I’m a little worried. I always just attributed the impairment to dopamine deficiency.

Maybe its just the sz?

I was playing some of the best guitar I’ve played days before I got put on this medication

Taking meds is part of sz. If Abilify didn’t help you, nothing can. Abilify is best for negative and cognitive symptoms.

Maybe try Rexulti and Vraylar, they’re similar to Abilify, they don’t fully block dopamine. They’re called partial dopamine agonists.

You mean Abilify or Invega? I am confused, Abilify is better for cognitive and negative symptoms than Invega for some ppl.

Find something to do thats more compatible with your sz?

No I used to tale invega and the quit and changed to abilify which I love. I don’t have motor skill impairment anymore

Such impairment may be present before illness starts.

i’m not sure how long it takes for the old depot to get out of your system. Maybe you need to be patient a bit more.

Did you notice less cognitive impairment on Abilify compared to invega?
