Will my ability to play jazz improve with switching to Abilify from invega?

So I used to be a semi professional jazz guitar player but ever since I’ve been put on invega sustenna and Trinza my jazz ability’s has been taken away from me. I’m 4 months off of Trinza and so far I don’t see a difference but I’m hoping my focus, motor skills, brain fog will improve. What do you guys think will I be able to play good jazz again?

I don’t see why not. There’s a lot of great musicians on this forum.

My negative symptoms were best on Abilify. Now they’re much worse on Risperdal. Why did you stop Abilify?

To be fair, jazz requires a lot of creativity and I’m really struggling with that. APs have taken away my creativity unfortunately. I’ve tried a lot of APs and they all do that to me. But yes, it is possible to play again for sure

Oh you’re on Abilify. Try your best, I think you’re on the best med for negative symptoms. Better than that would be to stop meds but thats not an option.

I’ll stop them eventually for I only had one episode but thank you.
