A doctor suggested either that or lamotrigine in addition to clozapine

I’ve been on amisulpiride . It’s good at lifting mood but my prolactin levels too high
I’m on lemotragine but not sure it’s done anything might speak to nurse and come off it
My experience is that it is a very, very strong medication. I may have been mostly symptom free on it along with Abilify, but my feeling was that it was blocking too much dopamine. The sex drive went away, plus I gained a lot of weight on it. Like it is hard to feel pleasure with these medications, in particular Amisulpride, because they block the dopamine.

Yes, it is a combination for treatment-resistant cases.
Like when I was on Clozapine, and hospitalized (not responding to Clozapine on monotherapy), the doctors wanted to try Amisulpride in conjunction. They are the two strongest medications.

I take Amisulpride, its the best med for me & i take a low dose so i am good as can be on it.
I took it for three years
Worked well
Worth a try but you need to make sure they do regular ecgs
I also did not gain weight on it
