Is Schizophrenia Part of the Autism Spectrum Disorder?

I’m technically only unofficially diagnosed because my insurance won’t pay for my doctor to actually test me because I’m old and already on disability, but I was told I could benefit from supports that included adaptive clothes, random work accommodations if I return to work, diet accommodations when I’m in the hospital, etc.

All of which I’m essentially doing myself. Like, I buy my own clothes, I find jobs that work with my personality and sensitivities, I eat what I want to eat, etc. But it’s still listed as supports according to my pdocs list of supports. :person_shrugging:

I live in a group home with 3 other people.

Person one has Aspergers. Has to pay all his monthly disability money (£404) (PIP) to fund his support.

Person two has an intellectual disability . Has to pay nothing towards his care

Me who has an intellectual disability and SZA. Don’t have to any anything towards my support
