Im still experiencing paranoia, i have intense delusions of reference and a few others.
Im currently on a high dose of zyprexa but i feel like its not really working.
I have no side effects on it except for restless legs…
I see my pdoc soon and i think i should tell her this.
Those who are taking risperdal what are your main side effects?

I was on generic risperidone 15mg. I had sexual dysfunction. But that’s me. Maybe it works for you
My main efect was the feeling of emptiness and low libido, I could not get off only on porn sites
I’ve been on just the Risperdal injections and just the Risperdal tabs. The Risperdal injections were a lot better than the tabs. I’ve never taken Zyprexa. I don’t think it would hurt. Your so lucky you don’t gain weight on antipsychotics. Might as well.
I would think that changing to Risperidone would make your restless legs worse, and it is no more effective for paranoia than Olanzapine.
Risperidone causes less weight gain, sedation and diabetes than Olanzapine, they are equally effective for psychosis.
Risperidone can increase prolactin significantly at the beginning of treatment.
Everymed has different effect on different people
I remember that on olanzapine, even that people said its a good med I had horrible side effects

Took it in the past. I liked it but the pdoc took me off of it. Remember feeling relaxed.
Risperidone causes sexual dysfunction, some weight gain, some sedation, higher prolactin levels and can cause Gynecomastia (increased size of breast tissue)
When I took risperdal I had akathisia bad

Risperdal Consta injections are a great drug. It cures my telepathy, thought broadcasting, paranoia, delusions and hallucinations. It evens out my mood too. It’s a great drug.
I’ve been on Risperdal since 2011, and don’t have much to add to what has already been said. I have sexual dysfunction, but that could be caused by my prostate medication or low testosterone. No other side affects other than that. I switched to Risperidone after coming down with diabetes while on Zyprexa.
i was on risperdal for almost a year. went from pills to injection called risperdal consta. it’s a great drug but its strong as heck. I enjoyed my time on it except for drug-induced depression i got from it.
I’m on invega sustenna now and I’m somehow MORE stable than I was before. invega is the more refined version of risperdal and i like it better
