I have some Ldopa now I am tempted to take. I know it will improve my negative and cognitive symptoms but it will make my positives and rage issues worse.

On Clozapine I was more social, but less functional (I used to sleep 12 hours on it).

You could try it. Nothing wrong with trying it. You may not get the same side effects I did.

But, Vraylar is one medication. You need to try 4-5 at least to find the most effective one.

Sometimes, it takes two medications, and you are your best judge in the sense that you know which ones gave you the best partial response.

I was on Abilify for 8yrs. I had to stop it due to side effects. Dr won’t prescribe Rexulti as he thinks it has the same side effects as Abilify. Rexulti is an improved version of Abilify. Caplyta is not available here, not even soon.

I have an apt with Dr 1 March, I will ask for 60mg Latuda + 2mg Risperidone. I had akathisia on 80mg Latuda, hopefully not on 60mg.

I saw another Dr and he didn’t want to prescribe Rexulti either but wanted me to try Clozapine. I refused. It needs weekly blood tests etc

Now I am as close to reality as I ever been honestly. I had less negative symptoms on Abilify but was suffering due to side effects and some positive symptoms.
