And that they have are living in our world right now as we speak.
That’s not inherently schizophrenic. It all depends on whether or not you let those beliefs impact your actions and your ability to live your life.

I think everyone in the world has some unusual beliefs that can’t be proven or disproven. It’s just part of the human brain trying to make sense of a confusing world. It only becomes a delusion when we let our life be negatively impacted by those beliefs. For example, Mr. Star believes in reincarnation. It’s definitely an unusual belief that can’t be proven or disproven. But he doesn’t let that belief hurt himself or those around him, so it isn’t a delusion. By contrast, I spent a long time believing I was a demon. I ran away from home and lived homeless for months because I was worried I would kill my family with my demonic powers. That was a delusion, and a pretty extreme one, because it got in the way of living a healthy life.

I think all humans are capable of being delusional with out a mental sickness take religion for instance. If you can’t comprehend evolution is the true existence of life in the universe then it’s delusional to think anything more than evolution is the key factor for life in the universe. So no aliens didn’t bring us here to colonize the planet. Or did we get here by some magical being snap their fingers and the universe appear with life as all God like religious beliefs make you believe. Yes aliens exist in this universe we share but have we been visited by them or are they coming is yet to be seen and proven.
