I cut a 4mg risperidone into 2x 2mg but one 2mg half got cracked into 2 pieces and white powder came, just a little. I guess its ok its not going to make me psychotic but I get anxiety about it.
Nah you will be fine. Youve just screwed the coating on the tablet that stops it irritating your stomach, or for long acting purposes.
Not recommended tho. Your best off contacting your doc for smaller dose pills if your gonna do that.

No idea about your pills but I have split abilify before.

I get a refill of 2mg + 3mg in a few days. The reason I ran out of 2mg is that a few weeks ago I reduced my dose by myself to 4mg, 2mg at night 2mg at 2pm. I had leftover 4mg from 2 months ago so I cut it in half to make 2x 2mg.
Fair enough, in all honesty at those doses it probably dont make much of a difference. Ive split my haldol too.

Does your Abilify pill has a line in the middle? My risperidone does. One pdoc told me you can only split pills that have a line in the middle as those without have random chemical distribution in the pill.

Hmm…interesting. I dont think my current pill do no. But when I was on 20 mg I think pdoc made me split to work my way up. Dont remember if had lines. I could be misremembering though. Was a while back. I know she had me slowly go up.

My regular doc has me split Glipizide. It has no line. I dunno Aziz

Some pills can be cut. In my country the hospital published a list of which pills can be split or not. Olanzapine regular pills can be cut even though they have no midline, but I remember latuda could not be cut. So it depends which meds you take.

Well I took the cracked pill 15min ago and I am not psychotic yet 
Yeah you should be fine.
I’ve done the same thing before and I was just fine.
