Is it just me or does your browser hang for like a second before it connects to this site? I using WiFi on a phone

It’s really annoying. I have reset all my network gear but still get it.

But in all fairness I installed an iOS update last week so that is likely the cause

Are you saying it hangs for a second every time you click on something or just the first time you load the site?

Nah just use my safari browser.

I think maybe it’s an ip checker used by the forum software. Maybe a vpn checker?
