Is it illegal for someone to lie to mental health crisis workers to have someone committed?

I didn’t think I had sz either it’s a common feeling lots of us have. People don’t always disagree with us, they know we are delusional . They don’t want to have conflict so they go along with whatever we say. I’m sure there is some truth to what you say. Imo you be seem pretty delusional.

Where I live a family member can go to the coroner and get a 72 hour hold on you. Anything longer than that has to come from a judge at a hearing. Check the laws where you live. This is usually done for alcohol and drug abuse though.

The forth time I was hospitalized they made me sign a paper saying I was willing to go for 10 days or they were going to have a judge commit me for 30. I don’t know if they were bluffing or not. It took me about 12 hours in the ER but I finally signed it. I thought I was only in the ER about 15 minutes. That’s how psychotic I was. My wife told me about it after the fact. They kept trying to get me to sign the paper and I wouldn’t sign it.

Sorry about your trauma. I hope things work out the best they can.

Are you trolling dude?

I actually have a scar on my hand that featured heavily in my delusions, too. I was dead sure I got it escaping from a government prison camp for child assassins. I always hid it, because I knew they were looking for me by checking people’s hands for scars. But that was a delusion, also. Once I regained my sanity, I remembered cutting it on a broken bottle when I was three.

I’ve never seen somebody this open when they’re this delusional. People are usually scared shitless about being this open. Was anybody else this open when delusional?
