I used to believe that Tom Welling was my half-brother who was going to rescue me from my abusive home and take me to Hollywood to make movies with him. I had plenty of “evidence” also. I believed I was 100% correct and nobody could convince me otherwise. But it was just a delusion. You are also experiencing a delusion. That’s okay. Delusions are just a result of excess dopamine in the brain. They don’t mean you’re not intelligent. Some of the smartest people in the would suffer from delusions. Elyn Saks believed she had killed a thousand people. John Nash fought with hallucinations daily. These are brilliant people, who never did anything wrong. They just had a disease. Once they accepted that, they started to get better.
All of those things are delusions. The proof is that, in most patients, proper medication makes the hallucinations and delusions go away. It will work for you, too. Give your meds about 8 weeks to start working. If they don’t work by then, you can switch to a new med until you find the right one for you. I tried about 6 or 7 before I found one that took away my disease without giving me bad side effects.
Yes. All of those things are common delusions.
You don’t have to prove anything to anyone. It’s important that you know that we won’t support you in your delusions.
Edit: this is a support group, but not to nurse your delusions and tell you that you are absolutely right and the psychs are wrong.
It is a bad idea to post pictures of yourself on here, though many members choose to do so anyways. But google image searches would reveal your posts here if you posted pictures. I’m not asking you for proof. I’m asking that you take some time to calm down, and have a little faith in your mental health team.
This guy is that one dude on Dr. Phil. Or playing as him.
He’s a troll.

The thing is, you’re not the first person to come here with what you consider to be ironclad proof of your delusions. We have been here for years, and our job is to help people see through delusions. Unfortunately, delusions are protected by confirmation bias. That means your brain subconsciously dismisses any evidence against you as obviously fake, while building up unrelated coincidences as infallible “evidence.”
We don’t take the time to argue with everyone about the facts of their delusions. We provide support and remind people that it’s safe to share what they’re thinking here, but we don’t agree with them even in the face of “proof.” There may be some kernels of truth in their delusions, but they are primarily that, delusional.
I am among those delusional and experience hallucinations. I’m perfectly aware some of the time, and some of the time I’m not. This is one of those times where you’re not really aware. A lot of schizophrenics and those suffering from psychotic disorders in general don’t have insight into their disease. It’s a part of the disease.
I agree with you about taking time for ourselves, but this isn’t the space to debate your delusions.
The meds help keep your mind caim and not connect coincidence into a story. Didn’t you say you take meds? I’ve found sz Also messes with time. You have proof because of the order things happen in. However with sZ the order you think things happen is not reality. Keep taking the meds they won’t hurt you and can help you concentrate.
The important thing is to have insight. You seem very well educated intelligent etc, and you are articulating your ideas very well probably to the doctors just like you are here on this forum. But every third sentence seems to have a doubtful basis in reality. To a normal person, your thinking seems disordered and has features of the thought disorder which is common in sz. If you want people to take your legal concerns seriously you will have to prove to them that your claims are real, which will also show that you are rational. Otherwise, if you keep talking about these bizarre delusions you are likely to not be taken seriously when you make these claims against your father, especially if you cannot produce evidence.
