I’ve never been able to ignore them and mine are mild compared to other people’s so, I think they probably are impossible to ignore.
I can somewhat ignore my voices; I think it depends on the person and being on medication makes it easier to ignore them, or at least realize they’re voices and not real.
You can learn to ignore them to a certain degree.
I can normally ignore mine, but if they get louder than usual, it gets harder to resist.
Usually they make demands, but I don’t do what they say unless I’m so stressed out and desperate that I hope they get quiet if I do as they say. But they don’t.
So no, it’s not bullshite to say that some people can ignore them
I think it must depend on the person/voices. I have some I can mostly ignore and others that I can’t.
It depends on my mood. The worse my mood the harder to ignore.
