Is Invega a good or a bad med?

well i just wanna get rid of my intrusive thoughts since they bother me the most rn
 also my doc wont let me do talk therapy yet because “its so early” in recovery or some ■■■■

Tell your doctor about that. Intrusive thoughts are sometimes treated by adding an anti-depressant or anti-anxiety med, but it is up to your doctor how to treat them.

I had the same problem. CBD oil helped me a lot, but I don’t know if minors are allowed to try it in your country. It might be worth asking your doctor about it. Amyloban 3399 is another supplement that I have found helpful.

It’s not being prescribed here for any reason except maybe epilepsy but it’s legal for all ages so I may try it

Speak with your doctor and your parents first. They might know of a reason why you should or shouldn’t take it.

I’m scared to talk about it

You definitely don’t want to take something without telling your doctor. Some of these supplements interact with meds, and can cause problems for you. For example, amyloban lowered my blood pressure, so I nearly passed out when I took a higher dose. My doctor had to monitor me on it until we found a good dose that didn’t hurt me.

I think its doing same thing  to me… how old are you hun?

Invega is even worse on gaining weight, i gained 20kg within 3 months, caused me major depressive disorder that i needed anti depressants and also gave my social and morning anxiety

i m using invega since 5 years. when i checked all symptoms above i can definitely say that these are temporary side effects.but i would not recommend this medicine for everybody because its strong medicine.for me i have hypocondriacy but i m not sure this somatic delusion comes from invega or not .this medicine definitely increased my social and intelligence ability.but it made me somehow more paranoid.since 5 years it did not affect my physical health at all.its really good drug but i m not sure why everybody so against it.i mean as a working mechanism abilify also contain some risks.and its not even new fashion drug therapy its just very old fashion dopamine antagonist therapy.it very similar to risperidone.thats all.am i wrong.am i missing something?

The medication caused all of this or the weight gained? Im prettybsyre it the medication…

Haldol and i think clozapine and olanzapine comes closest to low weight gained.

They usually cause weight gain…

Every AP causes weight gain, the only solution i found is find a physical demanding job or regular exercise

I am 15yo (1515)

what were some of you "delusions "
