Is Halloween a trigger for you?

I might be the only one, but Halloween has sorta become a trigger for me. I think it’s the scary movies, but I’ve grown to not like it as much as I used to. I used to love Halloween – the scary movies, Trick or Treat, the costumes…all of it. Nowadays, it’s just another holiday to me. But I do love the cooler weather that comes with Halloween :jack_o_lantern:

Halloween is definitely a trigger for me too.
You are not the only one.

I also enjoy the cooler weather.

glad I’m not the only one. I think the scary movies go hand-in-hand with common delusions – being watched, followed, the paranormal. I know that’s why I can’t really watch them. Too close to my delusions, which triggers them.

Lucky me I guess.

I’m kinda isolated, so I don’t really see it other than never ending fireworks blasting above my roof :expressionless:

Fireworks on Halloween would be pretty cool, my area doesn’t do that. I know my dog would hate that, though

I was excited for the Halloween movies, but only watched one. I had a nightmare after I watched one so I quit watching them. typically Halloween is just another day for me. have never celebrated it. used to get candy at school when I was young, but that was it. im enjoying the cooler weather as well. high of 58 today.

I remember I watched the movie “Paranormal Activity” in college with some friends. I was pretty shook after I saw that. Kinda realistic

Loud bangs could really mess up elder people, especially someone who is war torn or has a PTSD

Here where I live, we have more fireworks than on a new year eve
