Is depakote good for panic attacks?

I got prescribed xanax to take when I am having a panic attack and also depakote 500mg daily. I wanted to ask if depakote stops panic attacks from happening?

That’s a mood stabilizer I think.

Depakote is not typically used for anxiety. It is a mood stabilizer.

Depakote is an anticonvulsant (mood stabilizer) with excellent anti anxiety properties.
Especially at the 1000 mg dose or above.

nah depakote did not works for panic attacks as SSRIs or benzos would.

My old friend takes Xanax for social anxiety disorder. He doesn’t get panick attacks while around ppl anymore. Is Xanax not enough for you?
