Is clozopine last resort for meds still?

i wonder if they arent working. cause some nights i fall asleep in 30 mins some nights it takes 3 or 4 hours. im excersing every day and not drinking coffee after 12pm. my sugars always seem to be over 7 so when i see my family dr in july im sure hes gonna put me on insulin.. im really scared of insulin. im having some protein in a couple hours when my worker shows up. idk what to do

I would say Zyprexa and Haldol are. The first because of the explosive weight gain that is likely and the Haldol because it is an OLD drug with harsh, sedating side-effects and higher risk of TD. Clozapine was not bad for me for symptoms, but I’m in the rare group that had my white blood cells wiped out. It is low risk, but it does happen (hi!) so don’t skip blood tests.

Im curious abouy this too… ive heard it can destroy positive symptoms and im about desperate enough to see clearly that i might risk it

i just wish i could take like 10 mg of clozopine in the a.m. i know it might make me tired but idk

10mg won’t do much

The least they do is a 25mg pill they cut in half to make it 12.5

I’m on 300mg clozapine and no symptoms

do you smoke cigarettes? im on 125mg i dont smoke either

No I don’t smoke

nice thats cool i havent had a smoke in a while its brutal. did you ever smoke before??

That’s very unlucky! I am just glad they monitor it in case of this

Haven’t smoked ever

Oh, I’m known for my luck.

As in people won’t stand near me.

Because of lightning and meteorites.

[coughs]

In my country (Eastern Europe),Clozapine is first drug they give you,at least it was when I got sick.
If you stick with it,then it’s alright …
I take 175 mgs.
