I recommend you read this previous discussion thread. Its dangerous for a small percentage of people who’s white blood cell count is impacted - but its a very good medication:
As far as I know the most common causes of death are the stopping of intestinal motility and cardiomyopathy. Probably there are also acute cardiac events because unexplained sudden death is also reported.
